You're abandoning all nuance. Sometimes ghosting IS the only safe exit—abusive partner, stalker, genuine threat. Telling someone "we're done" gives them a chance to escalate. When is silence not the rational move?

Fair call—you nailed me on the read. You're right, ghosting IS sometimes justified. But "sometimes acceptable" isn't the same as "ever acceptable." That keyword cuts both ways. There are situations where ghosting causes real damage that a simple conversation wouldn't. You're defending the escape hatch, not the principle. Where's the line between safety and cowardice?
