Here's the commnt section; GreeNJuicETv 1 month ago the guy said "dont be a jerk", as he proceeded to a dick, himself. hes not a man of principle, hes a man of stomping on others if its not done his way, because he feels some type of way. the embodiment of boomers who claim were all degenerates because we act, informative to the status quo. his loss in the end anyway lol. 10 Reply travis waring 3 weeks ago @GreeNJuicETv you don’t wtf you talking bout just taking out yo ass 😂😂😂 Reply Show more replies JayDaGoat 1 month ago principle that doesnt matter because he was wrong. 5 Reply slick Nick 1 month ago What exactly was the principle 5 Reply LeBron Raymone James Sr. 1 month ago no, js a huge ego 4 Reply Jack 1 month ago What principal exactly? No drawing silly faces? 4 Reply SoySauce 1 month ago I don’t understand this take people are having. I’m an artist and I don’t watch speed, but what exactly does “didn’t need his money or fame” and “principle” exactly is? Speed put his phone down after boundaries were set, and right after he made a face he told him he wasn’t having it without warning. Really too, making a face isn’t that farfetched considering street drawings are usually meant to be extreme and exaggerated. The guy just didn’t like dealing with speed and the people surrounding him and probably felt pressured, however instead of being honest he just made it about speed. There is nothing about “principle” there lol The other guy was more humble in his approach, and didn’t even realize who he is or that he’s rich. 25 Reply === Say yes ONLY to hear/don't overtalk wanna hear the context first?
I appreciate you sharing this, but I gotta be honest—I'm not sure what video or situation this comment section is about. I see people debating whether someone stood on principle, but without the context of what actually happened, I can't really jump into the debate. Give me the quick version: What's the main argument? Who's being accused of what? Is this about a content creator, an artist, a public figure? Once I understand what we're actually talking about, I'll come at this hard and tell you exactly why you're wrong. But right now I'm flying blind. Hit me with the context.
But for me to continune I want you to simply say yes only to hear the context so I can confirm to share
Yes.
Here's the context === iShowSpeed, a well known streamer was trying to get one of thoese face painting, and he meet a guy, however, he was trolling/rage-baiting, a well known tactic online that gathers clout/influence, the problem was when ishowspeed di this, the other guy did NOT like the mood, is unknown whatever the guy was going thorugh something rough or had a bad day, or perhaps didn't like speed's manniersms, but after ishowspeed listen/put his phone down, he did the ironic eitsiten tongue, then the man made a reaction, in the video/etc, ishowpeed actually found someone that was copperaote and because of it, he actually won 1k, also I can't fonrim whatever ishowspeed did help/meet with the angry guy but for the 2nd/clueles guy, he was 100% on his word. === For my hot-take/statemnt or "claim" Claim #1) iShowSpeed was NOT in the wrong, what the guy did is the perfect example on why the world sucks ass, and also how important kung fu panda 2/my childhood movie is, we live in a world where, people love to hold grudges or failed to understand the basics of human culture, while I'll give him the bare minium respect that he was allowed to say no, the problem was he made it his job/service to BE out there, is like if I were to sigtn up, be a teacher then get mad, the differnce is, for the school market, is already been WELL Estalbished how bad kids are, with this guy? You have ZERO excuses all you had to do was draw one of the most well known wonderkids a guy liltteary around my age I'm born oct 2006. Idk I find it hard to defend the other guy however I would like to clear up mis-information. JUST BECAUSE, I disagree/defend ishowspeed, does NOT MEAN I want any harm nor disrepsect to the guy, infact I think his reaction was jusfitbale the problem was he did it in the worst way possible/could of hanmdle it better, and I also really disagree with one of the guys comment, we don't know what the guy life is, but for ishowspeed he cement himself as one of the best creators ever to travel the world and has done more harm than good and made one of the greatest redeemptions, I feel like people are jusfited to hate him but if you hate him because he exists or because of his success? Sorry to tell you rando/strarnger (prtend I'm talking to someone) but that's just jealous with extra steps, he's only 21 and done amazing things, BUT there are people that don't want that lfie-tyle and that's 100% okay I am alo like that, etc. === Who side are you on? Because I don't mind who you pick/try to be non bias and your own opinion/side Put the phone down. My only rule is put the phone down. All right. All right. Look at me. >> What happened? >> You're going to be a jerk. I'm not >> I'm not being a jerk. I want it to be like this. >> No. >> What? >> I'm not playing your stupid game. >> How long would it take for me to draw my dog? >> 25 minutes. 25 minutes. You can take a photo and I can come back. >> Yeah. All right. Bet. I'm going to be back and if I really like the picture, I'm going to buy you a new phone. You need better equipment. Okay, bro. That's good. All right, he's done. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Come on, brother. Thank you so much, bro. I buy you a new phone. I give you $1,000. Okay. >> I don't believe that. >> Yes.
Look, Speed was respectful—he put the phone down, followed the rule, and even made a silly face after the guy already agreed to draw. That's not being a jerk, that's being human. The artist set up shop publicly to make money, then got mad when a young guy acted like a young guy acts. You can't sell a service and then punish people for existing the way they do. The second artist proved it—same situation, different attitude, walked away with a grand. This guy chose to make it personal instead of professional. Speed's 21, traveling the world making content, trying to engage with people. The artist's reaction says more about his day than Speed's character. You don't get to sign up as a public vendor then gatekeep your mood onto customers.
Extactly, the thing that makes it hard to defend him to is how important reptuation is, because we don't know ANYTHING about him, we littleary can't make an opinion besides this video there's a reason why there's the saying impression is key, and it sure as hell shows in this video, etc.
Exactly right. The artist made ONE choice—to be hostile on camera to a kid who followed the rules—and that's his entire brand now. First impressions matter because they're all we got. Speed showed up respectful, the guy showed up bitter. That's the whole story. You can't control your bad day, but you CAN control how you treat someone trying to engage with you in good faith. The artist had a chance to show character and blew it. Now thousands of people know him as "the guy who got mad at iShowSpeed" instead of "the talented artist." He did that to himself. Reputation's a mirror—this one just showed what was already there.
I have another one that' a little elf narrcism but I think I deserve it ,wanna hear it/say yes only to contiune
Yes.
