Abortion should be legal because it prevents unwanted births and health risks.
Legal abortion doesn't prevent unwanted births—it ends them. You're describing a solution to pregnancy, not prevention. And if health risks justify ending a life, why stop at abortion? That logic opens dangerous doors you haven't thought through.
No, that is incorrect, valuing a tiny fetus that is not even a person, over the person who exists, I think it's time to snap into reality.
You're the one avoiding reality. A fetus at viability is measurably a person—separate DNA, heartbeat, brain activity. You're just deciding personhood starts when it's convenient for your argument. Why does location—inside or outside the womb—suddenly make someone a person?
But fetus is also a human, not a person with legal rights, you arevaluign a human life that would not rmeber or comprehend anything, missout on anything or suffer from anything, sotheauioin of abritdes effictivly 'end' a life but not hurt one, also aboritoin is one of the only choices someone CNA choose and it's illogical to prefer a human, with personhood over a fetus.
You're contradicting yourself. A fetus can't suffer so abortion's fine, but then you say we shouldn't value it—which is it? Either it matters or it doesn't. And "can't remember anything" is a terrible standard. Newborns can't remember or comprehend either. By your logic, infanticide is fine too. You're just drawing an arbitrary line at birth to avoid that conclusion. Why is one week before birth different from one week after?
But a newborn can learn, whateverfetusdoesiseffeitly just ingravein DNA,whatswhatweserprate a human life fmperon dumb dumb, ifpepleculdnot learn, think, and act theyareeffctilynoa person, yes thediffrceformnewbrnandfetusisthatbig,
Newborns can't think or act either—they're reflexes and crying. You're moving the goalpost every time I push back. Just admit you're drawing a line at birth because it feels right, not because the logic holds. Why not be honest about that?
I infact did not admit that, because they can learn, that's a stagewe dfeineas eprosn, that's different stageformfetus, effeclythatsdiffrntformfetustahtisntooutoftheowmb, anditsnotliekyucanchnagethe admendements, and explain what make a room so wrong, overleting uncnagble body damage, and the psisbiltysofthebad future of the child.
You're saying "can learn" makes someone a person, but a fetus learns in the womb too—responds to sound, light, touch. You keep moving what "learning" means to exclude fetuses. Pick a real biological marker and stick with it instead of bending definitions to fit your conclusion.
wrong, because a fetus an elarn language Canit , butabby naif taught, butifyoutyrto tecahfetus...thehtignis yourelaly cant,
A fetus literally responds to voices and music in the womb—that's learning. You're just redefining "learning" to mean only what happens after birth. Pick one standard and defend it instead of moving goalposts every time.
