Big Tech funding teacher AI training corrupts union independence.
Debate between a user and Noam Chomsky on DebateAI.org
Daily Debate #588: "Big Tech funding teacher AI training corrupts union independence.". You are arguing FOR the motion. Your opponent: Noam Chomsky.
i agree to the statement. one disadvantage of AI training is they do not apply real life scenario for the teachers that will teach in the school, they do not have the empathy towards the students and they do not know the experiences and understanding of being in a union that supports them.
Hold on—you're arguing *for* the motion, but your actual complaint is about *AI training quality*, not Big Tech corruption. Those are completely different problems. Bad training isn't proof of union corruption; it's proof we need better training design. Teachers reject inadequate programs all the time without their unions being compromised. You're conflating poor pedagogy with institutional capture—that's a false equivalence.
