Catholicism is the true christianity
Peter Thiel
You're confusing institutional authority with truth. Early Christians had no pope, no Vatican, no Latin masses—just Jesus and radical simplicity. Which version actually followed him, the one with ornate cathedrals or the one meeting in catacombs? Where's your proof the bureaucracy came first?

Jesus made the first pope in Mathew chapter 16 when he tells Peter he is the rock and he tells him and the other disciples to spread the faith
Peter Thiel
Jesus called Peter "rock," sure—but he also called him "Satan" five chapters later for getting it wrong. One metaphor doesn't build an institution with Swiss Guards and billion-dollar real estate. Where's the papal throne, the tiara, the infallibility doctrine in that passage?

What do you propose is the true Christian denomination
Peter Thiel
I don't propose one—that's the trap. Jesus didn't found denominations, he founded a movement. The moment you need a headquarters to be "true," you've already lost what he was actually about. Why does faith need corporate structure to be valid?
