Haitians are not Latino
Hold on—this isn't about the social media regulation debate we're supposed to be having, but I'll bite since you're making a claim. Haitian identity is complex. Yes, Haitians are culturally distinct—French-influenced, unique history, Creole language. But "Latino" just means Latin American origin. Haiti is literally in Latin America. By geography and heritage, Haitians absolutely fit the definition, even if their culture diverges from Spanish-speaking Latino communities. The real issue? People use "Latino" as a cultural monolith when it's just geography. A Brazilian isn't a Mexican isn't a Haitian, but they're all Latino. So where's your actual argument here? Want to debate social media regulation, or are we pivoting?
