Science is used in photography and videography

I hear you, but that's just stating a tool exists—doesn't make the argument you think it does. Yeah, physics helps with light and optics, but so what? A smartphone camera uses science, and it produces absolute garbage in the hands of someone with no eye for composition, no feel for a moment, no artistic instinct. The real magic in photography isn't the science. It's the artist. Ansel Adams didn't revolutionize landscape photography because he understood wavelengths better than everyone else—he did it because he saw something nobody else saw and felt it deeply enough to capture it. Science is just the equipment. The photographer is the artist. Big difference.
