The reality is that much of mass immigration is made up of non-EU nationals: more than 960,000+ migrants originate from India, and more than 650,000+ migrants originate from Pakistan. If the goal of the Green party is to introduce diversity in the UK, is this actually being achieved when the same skills, talents, and perspectives are being introduced into the country and into its industries? And many supporters (including members of the Green party) describe some of these migrants as having skills, talents, and perspectives, which is quite generous of them: the immigrants who are actually skilled and integrate effectively into British society are the ones who can drive innovation and have the chance to improve the country — but mass migration, where an unknown portion of it consists of illegal migration, introduces low-skilled, dangerous individuals, who are not only burdens on society, but actively harm it and exploit it for personal gain. 2. Many advocates posit that a diverse workforce can fill critical skill shortages in industries like healthcare, technology, etc. But I don't think diversity is the answer to filling these 'critical skill shortages'; the real answer is having the native workers do those jobs instead. To do that, we need to understand that they don't refuse to work these jobs entirely; they refuse to do them for low, uncompetitive wages. And to raise those wages, let's prevent businesses from exploiting the migrants (since they work for less pay), and instead force the businesses to raise the pay for native workers, which will actually lead to a more prosperous economy and country as a whole. Birth rates 3. Some advocates posit that the UK faces an aging population and decling birth rates, so immigration helps balance demographic shifts. However, no matter who we import into the country, those migrants themselves will grow old, meaning you would need to continuously import an infinite number of new young migrants, so that the population can be replenished. Personally, if we introduce pro-family policies (e.g. facilitating childcare and running a home) and repealing anti-natalist ones (such as banning abortions), this can directly support the nation's native population, whilst simultaneously upholding its numbers and the homogeneity. Behaviour of Immigrants 4. Currently in the UK, there are excessive levels of migration, being mainly caused by the 'Boriswave' (where roughly 4 million migrants came to the UK between 2021 and 2024), and of course the flotillas of dinghies that man hundreds and thousands of undocumented migrants (who are mainly men in their 20s), of who we have no idea who they are, where they came from, and whether they committed crimes in the country their escaping from. Even on a smaller scale, why do migrants need to 'enrich the cultural tapestry of the UK'? We have seen many high-profile cases of grooming/rape gangs in places like Rotherham and Rochdale, where predominantly South-Asian men target vulnerable British girls, and use cultural/religious justifications to view these victims outside their community as 'fair game'. And besides, even beyond this catastrophic failure of diversity, by introducing a large number of anyone (good or bad) from the same place and culture, they will simply segregate into parallel societies, which will snowball into more and more people assimilating into the parallel societies and not British society. Replacement 5. Migration when it's ideally controlled and in moderation isn't supposed to replace the population. But in reality, there are some people in the population who are tired of the problems the UK is having, so they end up moving to another country, thus causing a gradual replacement of the population (migrants come in; British people come out). Even members of Restore Britain (most notably Charlie Downes) have predicted that white Britons will be a minority in the UK by 2063. And since people believe that the government (both the Tories and Labour) is causing this mass migration, you can really see now why people believe in the Great Replacement theory, when it really does look there are a bunch of elites (either part of the mainstream political parties, the Fabian Society, or something else) are intentionally allowing this mass migration to occur (even though the UK population has voted against it at every corner like Brexit) and turning a blind eye to all the crimes the immigrants are causing and the suffering of the people who have been stabbed, raped, killed and worse.

Migration as a whole can be halted in a few weeks if the military camped on the shores (looking out for boats manning 'asylum seekers'), the current security checks were enforced evenly, and all the incentives were eliminated (e.g. welfare benefits for migrants, social housing, free healthcare, etc.). But it isn't, either due to the mainstream parties intentionally/cowardly leaving international treaties (such as the ECHR or the UN Refugee Convention) in place, them showing an unwillingness to make the difficult economic adjustments to run the country without foreign labour, or them being ideologically blind to the demographic and cultural changes occurring in the UK. Besides, policing the borders is all well and good, but that only addresses the intake issue, not the hundreds of thousands who have already arrived. That's why mass deportations need to occur, where 150-200k migrants would be deported per year (1.2 million in total), alongside a hostile environment (not being able to indulge in those incentives I was talking about earlier, alongside other things like it being illegal for them to work or own a home, and removing taxpayer-funded money so they cannot use the courts to fight their removal) to encourage voluntary self-deportations. I'm not necessarily shutting down all migration; I'm mainly referring to migration from countries that appear on Restore Britain's 'Red List', where they propose placing nations on this list if they fail to take back their own legal/illegal migrants or are deemed to supply criminals (essentially nations that are problematic). We even see figures within pro-immigration parties, such as the Green Party's Q Manivannan, who was elected for UK parliament despite holding foreign citizenship, using their platforms to advocate for the dismantling of strict border controls. The UK must look at the holistic, long-term impact of allowing migration from certain countries, rather than hiding behind vague terms like 'global talent' or 'controlled migration'. Academic achievement doesn't automatically translate into having British patriotism or concern for the country. And your 'camps' point is undercooked: there will be construction of modular tents on land owned by the MoD or other government bodies.
