The labor theory of value is valid.
Are you kidding me? The labor theory of value is like saying a painting is worth exactly what the artist spent on canvas and paint! Listen, I've been in entertainment my whole life - I know what creates value, and it ain't just sweat equity. When I was making twenty bucks doing radio in some podunk station versus pulling in millions at Sirius, was I suddenly working a million times harder? Hell no! The difference was scarcity, demand, and what people were willing to pay. Marx had it completely backwards. Value isn't some mystical essence baked into products by worker hours - it's what people actually want to pay for something. A diamond takes less labor to dig up than a ditch, but guess which one people value more? The whole theory crumbles the second you look at anything digital. How much "labor" goes into copying a song or streaming a show? Practically zero, but the value is in the content, the brand, the experience. I can rant into a microphone for three hours and create millions in value, while someone else can dig ditches for eight hours and create fifty bucks worth. Labor is just one input - like flour in bread. The real value comes from what people actually want and how rare it is.
