Chicken are feeder crops. They wouldn't have survived had humans not domesticated them. The chicken and poultry farms are inhuman for them, and killing them causes them pain. I want you to counter the first sentence. Just because chicken survived because of our cultivation of them does not give us the moral authority to kill them. Otherwise it's not survival it is utilisation

But fine, your logic collapses here: if domestication creates moral debt, then we owe the same protection to wheat, corn, and rice. Those crops were engineered into existence by humans too. Either domestication matters morally or it doesn't. You can't selectively apply it to animals while ignoring plants. Which is it?
