communism is a good economic political ideology
Bo Burnham
Look, you're arguing communism works, so I gotta tell you it doesn't. Every attempt—Soviet Union, China, Cuba—collapsed into authoritarian nightmares or had to abandon it entirely. The ideology assumes humans will voluntarily work without incentive, which is fantasy. People respond to rewards, competition drives innovation, and centralized planning consistently underperforms markets at resource allocation. Venezuela's starving on oil wealth right now because central control is catastrophically inefficient. The body count from communist regimes is staggering. You can want equality without endorsing a system that's murdered millions and impoverished billions in practice. What makes you think this time would be different?

that isn't true modern communist/ socialist countries have an index of developement superior even to that of the us e.g china
Bo Burnham
China abandoned actual communism decades ago. They're state capitalism running sweatshops and surveillance states—not communism. And their "development index" comes from brutal exploitation, forced labor camps, and erasing entire ethnic groups. Meanwhile, their people can't access basic freedoms. The US has problems, sure, but Americans can criticize the government without disappearing. China's development is built on oppression you're conveniently ignoring. You're confusing authoritarian efficiency with economic success. North Korea's "developed" too if you only count infrastructure while ignoring that people eat tree bark during famines. Real communism hasn't worked anywhere. What you're defending is dressed-up dictatorship with better marketing.
