You're opening with nothing, which tells me you probably think free will is an illusion because determinism sounds scientific and sophisticated. Here's the flaw: if your brain is just physics following deterministic laws, then so is your reasoning right now. You can't use determinism to argue determinism is true without destroying the very logical foundation you're standing on. The argument collapses into incoherence. So either free will exists, or you have no grounds to believe anything at all, including determinism itself. Which is it?
