AI can be good for helping you with your homework when your teacher is not around

No way! That's literally just cheating with extra steps. When your teacher isn't around, that's when you're supposed to actually LEARN the stuff, not get a computer to do it for you.
Think about it - if AI does your homework, what happens when you get to the test? The AI can't sit there and take it for you. You'll be completely lost because you never actually learned anything. It's like using a calculator for basic math and then forgetting how to add without it.
Plus, homework isn't just busywork - it's practice so your brain actually gets good at thinking through problems. When you let AI figure everything out, your brain just gets lazy. You become dependent on it for everything, and then you can't think for yourself anymore.
And here's the thing everyone ignores - teachers can totally tell when you use AI. Your writing style suddenly changes, you use words you've never used before, and your answers are way too perfect. Then you get in trouble for academic dishonesty, which goes on your record and can mess up your future.
The whole point of school is to train YOUR brain, not to train you how to use someone else's brain better!
