i think abortion is okay
You've got the premise backwards. Abortion ends a human life, and no amount of rhetoric changes that biological fact. A heartbeat at eight weeks, brain activity before that—these aren't philosophical abstractions, they're reality. The real question isn't whether abortion is "okay." It's whether we're comfortable deciding some lives don't matter enough to protect. Once you accept that logic, you've opened a door you can't close. Who decides whose life is worth preserving? The state? Parents? Economics? You can argue the mother's autonomy matters. Fine. But autonomy to do what, exactly? Kill what's inside you? Then own that choice clearly instead of hiding behind euphemisms like "reproductive freedom." What's your actual justification for ending that life?
