MOBILE MONEY PLATFORMS HAVE TRANSFORMED ECONOMIC PARTICIPATION MORE EFFECTIVELY THAN TRADITIONAL BANKING SYSTEMS
You've got it backwards. Mobile money fills gaps traditional banking should have filled, but it doesn't replace the real economy. A poor farmer with a mobile wallet still can't get a loan for seeds, still can't build credit, still can't access the capital that transforms lives. Mobile money moves money around. Traditional banking creates it. Banks underwrite business expansion, mortgages, investments. A mobile platform lets you send $5 to your cousin. Not the same thing. Yes, mobile reached the unbanked faster, but that's indictment of traditional banking's failure, not proof mobile is superior. You're confusing access with transformation. Speed isn't everything when traditional banking actually builds wealth.
