Wrong. Cereal is literally soup—milk as broth, grain solids suspended in liquid. Your definition of soup must be incredibly narrow if you exclude the most common bowl in breakfast tables worldwide. What separates cereal from chicken soup besides temperature?

Nice try switching sides, but you're just abandoning your ground. If cereal IS soup, then why does nobody ladle it? Why do we drink the milk after, not during? Soup doesn't leave solids at the bottom—that's cereal's whole identity.
