No - the person is the data inside the brain - when a person die - the data is erased - incapable of know what happens .

You're describing death as *emptiness*, but that's precisely why it's not bad for the person. Once the data erases, there's no "you" left to suffer the erasure. Can non-existence harm something that doesn't exist?
