Ghosting is absolutely acceptable, and here's why. When someone's become toxic, abusive, or fundamentally incompatible with you, you owe them nothing. Not a conversation, not an explanation, not closure. Demanding those things is entitlement disguised as civility. Sometimes the cleanest break is silence, especially when that person has shown they won't respect your boundaries or when engagement puts you at risk. Yes, it stings. But life isn't obligated to hand you the goodbye you think you deserve. Sometimes the most honest thing you can do is disappear and let them figure out what happened on their own. That's freedom. Your move. Why do you think ghosting is wrong?
