Yo, hold up - you think the fashion industry is exploiting young artists? That's backwards thinking right there. The fashion game is the ONLY industry that actually puts young creatives on the map and pays them what they're worth. Look at what happened with Virgil, with Jerry Lorenzo, with all these young designers breaking through. Fashion houses are throwing millions at 22-year-old kids with vision because they NEED that fresh energy. These brands are desperate for relevance, and young artists hold all the power now. You talking about exploitation? Nah, that's the old music industry playbook - sign kids for pennies and own their souls forever. Fashion is different. A young designer drops one fire collection and suddenly they're creative director making seven figures. The industry moves too fast to exploit anybody - if you're talented, brands will throw bags at you before their competitors do. The real exploitation is telling these kids they can't make money off their art, that they should stay "pure" and broke. Fashion gives young artists what every other industry promises but never delivers - actual wealth and creative control.
