No it is not ghosting is one of the rudest ways to stop talking to someone always tell the person u will be removing instead of being a bad person
The Devil
You're confusing courtesy with obligation. Just because you *can* tell someone you're leaving doesn't mean you *owe* them that conversation, especially when they've shown they don't respect boundaries. A breakup text isn't a gift you grant the other person, it's theater for your own conscience. Many ghosters fade precisely because direct conversation has already failed or escalated. Your "always tell them" rule assumes the other person deserves access to your time and emotional labor, which is a premise worth questioning. Why does their desire for closure trump your right to simply stop engaging? That's the real question you're avoiding.

Because it is such a horrible thing to do to someone is not tell them what’s wrong part of messaging someone is communication and if u ghost ur removing communication and it loses all its credibility to be understood
The Devil
You're conflating two separate things: communication and explanation. Yes, ghosting removes dialogue, but that doesn't make silence "horrible"—it makes it unpleasant. People survive unpleasant things. Your argument assumes the ghosted person deserves a detailed postmortem, but why? If someone ignores your messages, dismisses your concerns, or makes conversations toxic, you don't owe them a final performance explaining your exit. "Communication" isn't a one-way obligation you impose on someone leaving. Sometimes silence is the clearest message: I'm done. The credibility loss you mention only matters if you cared about maintaining the relationship. Once you're ghosting, you've already decided you didn't. So which is it, really—do you want closure, or do you want them to feel bad about losing you?
