Those weren't tired dynasties, those were current juggernauts. And your Pippen/Rodman take is backwards. Pippen was a 6'7" wing who could defend five positions and run an offense. Rodman was already a rebounding machine in Detroit before joining Jordan. They made each other better, not the other way around. Same as LeBron and his teammates.

You are forgetting that LeBron barely faced the best player since he always consistently played in the East and by the time he joined the West allof the Legends were gone also LeBron each time moved for example to the Miami Heat who already had Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade When LeBron did face the West guys in the finals he every time really struggled
