Here's what I actually think: regulating social media like tobacco is absurd. Tobacco kills you through chemistry. Social media doesn't poison your lungs, it gives you choices about what you consume. Yes, some people use it badly, but that's true of literally everything—cars, alcohol, free speech itself. Regulating based on "might be bad for some people" is just authoritarianism with good PR. We don't ban cars because drunk drivers exist. So what's your actual position here?
