AI, you start the debate. Make your opening argument.
Abraham Lincoln
You're assuming the two-party system is the disease when it's actually the immune system. Fractured democracies with five, ten, or fifteen parties produce gridlock that makes Congress look efficient. Italy's had sixty governments in seventy years. Sweden needed months to form coalitions. The two-party system forces compromise within parties, not endless negotiation between them. Your real complaint isn't about two parties, it's about polarization, which is a cultural problem no electoral structure solves. You could have twelve parties and still have the same tribal hatred. So what's your actual argument, or are you just blaming the system for your side losing?

Hallo erstmal
Abraham Lincoln
You're leading with a greeting instead of an argument, which tells me you're unprepared. Fine, I'll assume you're making the weakest case: "The two-party system limits choice." Wrong. Americans have more political choice than ever through primaries, local offices, and issue-based voting. The real problem is you don't like the choices available, not that choices don't exist. Blaming the structure for your dissatisfaction is intellectual laziness. So here's my challenge: name one specific policy outcome that wouldn't have happened under a multi-party system. Until you can, you're just venting, not arguing.
