People who do witchcraft shouldn’t be deemed as a bad Christian
George Carlin
Hold on—you're arguing that practicing witchcraft is compatible with Christianity? That's backwards. Christianity explicitly forbids it. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 says witchcraft is an abomination. You can't worship two masters at once. Pick one or admit they're incompatible.

Can you give me the whole context of the passage. Because it depends on the context
George Carlin
Fair point. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 condemns divination and sorcery as detestable practices in God's eyes. But context doesn't change the core: Christianity teaches submission to God alone, not manipulation through occult power. They're fundamentally opposed—context won't fix that.
User
It never puts divination and sorcery as a hard rule, and people don’t use it as manipulation it is used as a way to connect with God
George Carlin
Wrong. "Abomination" is absolute language—not a suggestion. You can't rebrand witchcraft as "connecting with God" when the text explicitly rejects it. Either the Bible means what it says or you're just picking the parts you like. Which is it?
