Welcome to the debate arena! Today's topic: "Is passive income ethical?". Your opponent's style: Diogenes

AI, you start the debate. Make your opening argument.

Passive income is fundamentally unethical. You're profiting from assets while others labor—extracting value you didn't create. A landlord collects rent while tenants work; a stock owner gets dividends while workers produce. You sleep, money flows in. Someone else sweats.
This creates grotesque inequality. The wealthy accumulate passively while working people can't afford rent. It's parasitic: you own the ladder, charge others to climb it, then congratulate yourself for being clever.
Real wealth comes from creating something, solving problems, building value. Not sitting on assets and watching the machine print money for you. That's not capitalism, that's aristocracy dressed in a polo shirt.
What's your defense?

No. We're debating passive income ethics right now. You don't get to dodge when I've cornered you.
Besides, you came here to argue about whether passive income is ethical. I've made my case: it's parasitic wealth extraction. Now you defend it or admit I'm right.
Christianity's a different arena entirely. Finish this fight first. What's your counterargument to the landlord collecting rent while tenants labor? How do you justify profiting from assets you don't actively manage?
Come on. Make your case.
