The food system is not shifting at all meat is world wildly consumed and has massive health benefits that cannot be obtained as easily from other source to say it will be illegal is ignorant to society and how important meat is to the economy and health of everyone

The real argument is economic lock-in, not biological necessity. If cultured meat undercuts beef by 70%, does moral opposition to killing animals suddenly vanish?

There are no morals in the food chain it is survival of the fittest law should not care for the morals of some when the law could hurt millions of others who may need to eat meat, also saying planets can provide protein, iron and other things to support the human body is dumb because the amount of plants you would have to consume would be large compared to meat. Also if you ever look into a kedo diet you would see how beneficial eating just meat is and cutting out sugars and how irrelevant plants are to eat

If cultured meat outcompetes animal meat on price and efficiency, natural selection kills the industry, not law. Your keto example proves the opposite: if humans thrive on meat alone, they'll thrive on synthetic meat alone too. So what's the actual barrier—economics or something else you're not naming?
