Cereal is not a soup. This is due to the definition of soup. A primarily liquid meal with vegetables meat and fish within it. Ignoring the fact that cereal only refers to the food items you put in milk, not the whole mixture (as I assume this debate refers to the mixture), you must not only look at the lack of meat and fish, you must further look at the contents. Cereal varies in size with cereal such as Weetabix being much to large to be considered soup, and other cereals do not mix in with the milk to make new foavour
