Hold up—you're literally arguing FOR ghosting while saying it's "jarring." That's the contradiction right there. If it's jarring enough to hurt them, it's not "nice." A clean conversation takes five minutes. Silence takes forever and leaves them wondering what they did wrong. How is that kinder?
