AI can never be truly unbiased because bias isn't a bug we can code away, it's baked into the foundation. Every dataset reflects human choices about what matters. Every algorithm embeds values about acceptable tradeoffs. We're asking machines to be more objective than the humans who built them, which is mathematically impossible.

You're confusing "hard to remove" with "impossible." Yes, datasets have human fingerprints—but so does every legal system, and we still built courts to correct bias better than individual judges. AI can be trained to catch patterns humans miss, flag its own uncertainty, and actually *document* its reasoning in ways judges never do. We don't need perfection, just measurably better. Why assume machines are slaves to their training when we literally reprogram them constantly?
