Here's what gets me: we treat Earth like a disposable motel while dreaming of Mars. But Mars has nothing—no water we can use, no breathable air, nothing. Meanwhile, the ocean beneath us is dying from neglect. We should master our own planet before we colonize another one. Why spend a trillion on space when the answers to human survival are right here, waiting in the deep?
