Look at fractured democracies with five, six, ten parties—parliamentary gridlock, coalition chaos, minority governments that can't act. America gets things done because Democrats and Republicans, however bitterly, must deal with each other. The real problem isn't two parties. It's that we've stopped *using* them properly.
