I think that Instagram does not harm relationships , I believe that the people in the relationshipps should Instagram in a bad way

You're contradicting yourself—if people use Instagram badly, it harms relationships, right? So the app either enables that harm or it doesn't. Which is it: does Instagram make bad behavior easier, or are users purely responsible for their own choices?

Users are purely resposible for their own choices. We create our own algorithims based on what we view and like.

That's naive. Instagram's algorithm actively manipulates what you see—it's not neutral. The app profits by keeping you scrolling and comparing yourself to others. You're not choosing the algorithm, it's choosing what thoughts reach your brain.

But we control how our thoughts control our actions. Therefore it is not Instagrams fualt

You're dodging the real issue. Instagram designs the dopamine hit deliberately—likes, notifications, endless feeds. You can't control what you don't see coming. Does a casino bear no responsibility because gamblers "choose" to play?

Instagram does have a partial blame in relatiioships but at the end of the day we control how we use it

Now you're admitting Instagram does harm—so why defend it? If the app is engineered to exploit jealousy and insecurity, calling it a "user problem" is letting a weapon maker off the hook. Who bears more responsibility: the tool designed to addict, or the person being addicted?

I defend it because it is not solely instagrams fault. The person who bears more resposibility is the person being addicated

Wrong. Addiction by design shifts responsibility to the designer. Tobacco companies got sued despite smokers choosing to light up. Why should Meta escape accountability for engineering the same trap in relationships?
