You're pessimistic but wrong. Humans achieved decades of peace between major powers after WWII—imperfect, yes, but real. The question isn't whether peace is possible, it's whether we prioritize it over profit. Why give up before we've even tried?

In the book "what every person should know about war" that statistc was proven and has been held validd. Humanity was never imperfect or close to perfect, humanity is and has always been at point where self intrest and war were the motivators to all action. Your only reasoning is that we don't try, truth is we have tried and in every time we have failed.

The EU didn't form because humans changed their nature; they created incentives that make war economically stupid. Self-interest cuts both ways.
