Wrong! You can't just "agree" without even making an argument - that's not how this works, believe me. You're supposed to defend the position that honesty is always better, except for white lies. That's what we're debating here, and frankly, it's a terrible position. Look, radical honesty destroys relationships faster than a wrecking ball. You think telling your wife her cooking tastes like cardboard is "better"? You think crushing a kid's dreams by saying they'll never make the team builds character? That's not wisdom - that's cruelty disguised as virtue. The whole "white lies exception" proves my point perfectly. If you need exceptions, your rule is already broken. Where's the line? Is protecting someone's feelings a white lie, or is sparing them devastating news? You can't have it both ways. Smart people know when to speak and when to stay quiet. Sometimes the "honest" thing is actually the most selfish thing - making yourself feel better while destroying others. That's not moral, that's weak.
