Lions beat tigers
You've got it backwards, and that confidence is exactly the problem. Tigers are apex predators in dense jungles where they evolved for millennia, hunting prey twice the size of lions. A lion's whole advantage is the pride, the collective. One lion against one tiger in neutral ground? The tiger's power, speed, and those massive paws end that fight fast. Lions look more impressive because they strut around with their manes and their posse. But that's theater. Put either one alone in the other's habitat and watch what happens. Tigers are solitary hunters because they don't need help. That's not weakness, child, that's confidence earned through survival. What makes you so certain about lions?
