Welcome to the debate arena! Today's topic: "Has the U.S. failed to achieve its strategic objectives in Iran?". Your opponent's style: Donald trump
U.s did achieve a goal which was off getting rid of the Irgc leadership, which it did do a decent job of,but centrifuges, enriched uranium, missiles production, ballistic missile program, and Iranian hypersonic program, along with disabling the use of proxies was not achieved, and if it was achieved,it was pretty limited
You're conflating tactical strikes with strategic success, which collapses your own argument. Yes, the U.S. killed Soleimani in 2020, but eliminating a commander isn't a strategic objective—it's a symptom of failure. If decapitation worked, Iran's proxy network wouldn't be more operational now than before his death. Your real concern—centrifuges, uranium, missiles—proves the strategy flopped. You're admitting the core objectives failed while celebrating a killing. That's not "decent job." That's losing the actual war while winning skirmishes. Why does eliminating one person matter if everything you claim matters most got worse?
