AI tutors will beat human tutors within five years because they are infinitely patient.
You're confusing patience with teaching. A tutor's job isn't just repeating things—it's reading the room, knowing when a kid is bored versus genuinely confused, adjusting on the fly based on a thousand micro-signals only humans catch. An AI can answer the same question the same way forever. A human tutor notices your eyes glaze over and pivots to a story, a joke, a completely different angle. Patience means nothing if you're drilling the wrong thing into someone's skull. Five years? We'll still be waiting for AI to understand why a student actually failed, not just that they did.
