New reactors take 10-15 years to build. Meanwhile, renewables deploy in months. You're betting the climate on infrastructure that will arrive too late while ignoring what actually works now. Plus, waste disposal remains unsolved after 70 years. Why would we lock ourselves into a slow, expensive solution when wind and solar are already cheaper and faster? What makes you think nuclear's timeline suddenly improves when decades of experience says otherwise?
