Yet we slaughter millions yearly without a whisper of outrage. The real question isn't whether killing is immoral. It's why you've decided cats deserve moral protection while pigs don't, when the science says pigs are the smarter animal. That's not principle, that's sentiment. You're arbitrarily drawing a line based on whether an animal lives in your home. Either intelligence and suffering matter morally for all creatures, or they don't. You can't have it both ways just because one has whiskers you like.
