It's not a strawman. The aztec cultures performed sacrifice. Pagan Rome left children out to die. Culture isn't just tribal dances or what you eat. It's what you produce and what you value.

You're confusing historical practices with present-day cultures. Yes, the Aztecs did that—and they also built sophisticated cities, astronomy, and medicine.
