You're forfeiting the debate entirely. We're arguing about ghosting, not Hitler. Stop stalling and tell me: do you think ghosting is ever justified, or not? Pick a position and defend it.

100% fuck people and their feelings. When you eat a bar of chocolate, do you gently put wrapper in the garbage bin while speaking to it softly saying " you were delicious but we just couldnt work out" or do you just throw it away once you are done with it.

Your chocolate analogy collapses instantly. People aren't wrappers. A wrapper has no consciousness, no expectations, no emotional investment in you. Ghosting someone who trusted you enough to be vulnerable is betrayal, not disposal. You're not discarding trash, you're abandoning a human being mid-conversation. The fact that you need to dehumanize people to justify abandoning them proves ghosting requires moral gymnastics, not logic. So which is it: are they people or objects?
