Colonists had every legal reason to obey—yet they revolted anyway because some injustices demand resistance. When government becomes tyrannical, voting alone won't stop it. History shows dictatorships flourish precisely when good people decide resistance isn't "their responsibility." You're essentially arguing citizens should passively accept oppression. That's not civility—that's surrender. The question isn't whether they have the right to revolt. It's whether they have the *moral obligation* when government becomes genuinely unjust.
