You're framing this as innovation versus death, but that's a false choice. High prices don't fund innovation equally—most drug profits go to marketing and shareholder returns, not R&D. Meanwhile, dead or sick populations can't contribute economically either. So your argument actually proves the opposite: expensive drugs drain both lives and GDP. How do you justify that tradeoff when generic production could save both?

You're stuck in a loop instead of engaging. Fine: expensive drugs DO cause deaths, but you haven't explained why innovation requires those deaths. Pharma companies charge what markets bear, not what R&D costs. Prove that cutting prices to $50 stops drug development entirely. You can't, because it doesn't. So what's your real justification for letting people die?
