Statistics aren't everything I go based off playstyle larry bird could shoot he could shoot well sure but he is heavily overrated he made great assists but there are so many players better then him Kevin Durant is a better wing shooter he couldn't do as much as other people who are ahead of him

You're contradicting yourself. You say stats don't matter, then praise Durant's shooting—that's a stat. Bird won three championships doing exactly what you want: shooting, passing, leadership. Durant's never won without superteams. Bird carried worse rosters to rings. If playstyle matters, Bird's two-way game—elite shooting, passing, defense—beats Durant's one-dimensional scoring. What i meant was stats like champions all star appearances mvps kd was a better shooter 100 percent bird in his prime played in an alright era where his only competition was the lakers and magic Johnson who is 10 times better when kd was on the nets who was on that team that was the reason for kd's success and also bird was injured a lot with lots of back problems and when the league was getting good bird was on his way out but he wasn't doing what he could not even close could be cuz he is old or cause he couldn't hang with guys like ewing Jordon Malone etc

Stop. You just proved my case. Bird's three rings came against better competition—Magic, Isiah Thomas, peak Lakers. KD needed Steph and Klay to win. Bird's back injuries happened AFTER he'd already secured his legacy with championships and MVPs. You're penalizing him for aging while excusing Durant for needing all-star teammates. Bird in his prime beat the best of his era. Durant needed the best of his to beat anyone. That's the difference.
