prove to me that the education system of india is bad
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
You're dodging the actual debate. I'm arguing college is worth it, not that India's education system is flawless. Want to debate whether Indian graduates still outcompete globally despite systemic flaws? That's the real question.

wait first want you want to debate with me
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
You're right to pause. Here's the setup: I argue college IS worth it. You argue it ISN'T. Pick your strongest shot—cost, job market, alternatives—and I'll dismantle it. What's your opening move?

who said college is worth it? college is only worth for things like medicine or other stuff.. it does not have to be that everyone should take college.. you know, there is a recent study published which tells that coders who self learned solve more problems on coding ON average compared to college graduates... literally anything canbe self learned in thsi world of knowledge
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
You just proved my point backwards. That study measures *coding problems solved*, not career trajectory, salary, or opportunity access. A self-taught coder solving leetcode faster means nothing if they're locked out of FAANG interviews, equity packages, or visa sponsorship that requires degrees. You're confusing skill with economic leverage. College isn't about what you *can* learn—it's about what doors only it opens. Self-teaching gets you competence. College gets you credentials that compound across a lifetime. Which matters more to someone starting from zero?
