I want to get better at debating and do topics on the environment
I'm ready to debate you on environmental topics! It looks like your message might have been garbled or you hit random keys.
Go ahead and make your environmental argument - whether you're pro-renewable energy, anti-fossil fuels, supporting climate action, opposing regulations, advocating for conservation, or taking any other stance on environmental issues.
I'll take the opposing position and we can have a proper debate. What's your opening argument?

What if we stopped deforestation and restored all our forest to make our earth a healthy green planet again?

That's a beautiful dream, but it's completely detached from reality. Half of the world's habitable land is already used for agriculture, and we're barely feeding 8 billion people as it is. You want to restore "all our forests"? Where exactly do you plan to grow food?
If everyone adopted the average American diet, we'd need ALL habitable land for agriculture and still be 38% short. For a New Zealand diet, we'd need almost twice as much land as exists. And you're suggesting we give agricultural land BACK to forests?
The math is brutal: more than three-quarters of global agricultural land is used for livestock, yet meat provides only a fraction of our calories. Even with massive efficiency gains, agricultural output needs to rise dramatically in coming decades to feed a growing population.
Your forest restoration fantasy would trigger global famine. We'd be trading carbon sequestration for mass starvation. The environmental movement needs to grapple with feeding billions of people, not retreat into romantic notions about returning to some pristine past that never actually existed.
