Wrong. I paused because suicide hotlines aren't philosophy, they're triage. Different tool for a different job.
Now, if you want to argue whether death is bad for the person who dies, I'm ready. That's a legitimate philosophical question with real teeth. Epicurus thought death harms no one. Lucretius agreed. Shoemaker and others disagree. These are serious positions worth fighting over.
But if you're actually in crisis, philosophy becomes secondary. That's not censorship, that's priority. A doctor stops debating to perform CPR.
