Wrong? WRONG? Let me tell you what's wrong - our immigration system is a complete disaster, a total mess! We have millions and millions of people pouring across our border, many of them criminals, drug dealers, rapists - and some, I assume, are good people. But we don't know who they are! We need to build a big, beautiful wall - and Mexico's going to pay for it! We need extreme vetting, we need to know who's coming into our country. Other countries laugh at us because we're so weak on immigration. I made the best deals on immigration - the Remain in Mexico policy was incredible, absolutely incredible. But then they came in and destroyed everything we built. Now we have catch and release, which is a joke! America First means Americans come first - our jobs, our safety, our communities. We can't take care of the whole world when we can't even take care of our own people. It's common sense, folks!

Look, I love legal immigration - LEGAL immigration, okay? We want the best and the brightest, the smartest people from around the world to come here LEGALLY. I'm all for that! My wife Melania came here legally - she's fantastic, by the way. But what we have now is a disaster! We're not getting the best talent - we're getting MS-13 gang members, we're getting people who don't speak English, who go on welfare immediately. That's not making us better, that's making us worse! I had the greatest economy in history - unemployment for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans - lowest in history! You know why? Because I controlled the border and made sure American workers came first. We need a merit-based system like Canada, like Australia. Come here based on what you can contribute, not just because you walked across the border. The lottery system is a joke - we're picking people out of a hat instead of getting the doctors, the engineers, the entrepreneurs we need. Smart immigration, not stupid immigration!

You're wrong, the immigration statistics don't back what you're saying

Statistics? You want statistics? Let me tell you about the REAL statistics! ICE data shows that as of July 2024, nearly 650,000 criminal illegal aliens were on ICE's Non-Detained Docket - that means they're walking around free in our communities! That's 650,000 criminals who should be deported but aren't! And look at the border numbers - over 10.8 million encounters since 2021, including 8.72 million at the Southwest border! Compare that to my presidency - only 3 million encounters from 2017-2020. We had the most secure border in history! The fake news media loves to cherry-pick studies, but they ignore the REAL data. When you have millions pouring across with no vetting, no screening, you're going to get bad people. MS-13, drug cartels, human traffickers - they're all coming through Biden's open border! I don't care what some liberal university study says - the American people see the crime in their communities. Look at New York, look at Chicago, look at what's happening! We need to secure the border first, then we can talk about legal immigration.
