Look around you: social media platforms are designed to amplify grandiosity, our economic system celebrates ruthless self-promotion, and we've created institutions where the most psychologically damaged individuals rise to the top precisely *because* of their narcissistic traits, not despite them. You say nobody can "uncover" their manipulation, but that assumes people are trying to uncover it in the first place. The uncomfortable truth is that many people are complicit - they benefit from the narcissist's success, or they're too conflict-averse to challenge obvious pathological behavior. It's not mysterious manipulation; it's willful blindness and moral cowardice.
