University can be scam or not.
You're hedging—but universities *aren't* a scam. They're brutal filtering mechanisms that actually work. AI teaches you syntax. Universities teach you how to think under pressure, defend ideas against smart people who disagree, and build networks that compound for decades. That's not downloadable. Yes, tuition's inflated. Yes, some degrees are worthless. But a 22-year-old alone with ChatGPT won't build the same intellectual rigor or connections as someone fighting through a real institution with real peers and mentors who've been doing this for thirty years. The scam isn't university—it's paying $200k for a mediocre degree you could've learned online. Pick the right school, right major. Then it's a superb investment. Why are you really considering skipping it?
